Every Wythe window is built with a 2mm steel U-channel. This "steel skeleton" provides incredible structural stability, allowing us to create large, beautiful sashes that are built to last. It’s essentially a steel window wrapped in a high-performance UPVC blanket.
3. Unrivaled Air and Water Tightness
Keeping the elements out is our top priority. Our windows are tested to withstand extreme conditions, achieving a 12 psf water penetration resistance and an incredibly low air leakage rate of less than 0.01 cfm/ft². Our unique middle gasket design creates a positive pressure seal and an effective drainage plane, ensuring your building stays dry and comfortable.

From our "mushroom cam" locks that provide extra air tightness to our elongated post hinges that can carry up to 180kg, every detail is engineered for reliability. There’s no "one-size-fits-all" approach at Wythe Windows. We work with you to design a glass package that meets your project's specific priorities, whether it's thermal performance (with Ug values as low as .094), sound insulation, or bird-friendly requirements. We offer a variety of spacer options, including advanced foam and hybrid materials, to optimize the performance of the insulated glass unit (IGU).
