EEBA Institute Online Courses Now Available

EEBA members and Institute students now have an effective new training tool to promote better building performance based on EEBA climate-specific criteria.

Through a cooperative arrangement with e-learning company, Build IQ, the EEBA Institute of Building Technology now offers 9 online courses via the Internet. They include Building for Performance, Basement and Crawlspaces, Slab on Grade, Mold Prevention-Fundamentals, Mold Prevention-Roofs, Mold Prevention-Walls, Mold Prevention-Foundations, Mold Prevention-Windows and Doors and Mole Assessment and Remediation.

Under the direction and review of the EEBA Technical Committee, online courses provide consistent, quality building science education right to one’s desktop at home or at work. Each course is filled with real-world, best practices examples, click-thru illustrations and job site photos. The course feature quizzes and knowledge assessments to help students gauge how much they have learned while tracking their progress. Available on the web, 24/7, the EEBA Institute online course offerings provide supplemental educational options to the Institute classroom and Building Solutions conference courses.

The EEBA Institute online course offerings is the anytime, anyplace learning tool for today’s busy building professional. Visit the Institute website at www.eeba.org/institute to learn more.
