EEBA names Duncan Prahl of IBACOS and Randy Folts of
BMC-Construction to board leadership positions
The EEBA Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Max Wade as
President of the organization following its annual meeting in February.
Wade, who served the organization as president for the last year, was
unable to continue in the volunteer position due to an increasing demand
on his time from his business, Comfort Air & Plumbing. He will remain a
board member through the end of the year.
As a result of Wade’s departure, Duncan Prahl was named interim board
president. Prahl, Research Project Manager at IBACOS, specializes in
residential and commercial building design and construction management,
building performance issues including energy, moisture and air transport
within residential and commercial buildings, building science training,
and project management. Duncan is a registered architect and earned a
Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree and a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree
from Rhode Island School of Design.
The EEBA Board nominated Randall (Randy) Folts, V.P. & Chief Operating
Office, BMC-Construction, as the organization’s interim Vice President.
Foltz served on the EEBA board from 2000-2003. He was board president in
2002.
Folts, previously with Pulte/Del Webb, has extensive experience in
customer relations, product development, and quality management systems.
He was a key contributor to Pulte’s success in achieving industry
recognition by J.D. Powers and in President Bush’s 2000 Energy Plan for
best performing production homes. Randy holds a B.A. degree in
Industrial Technology and Business Management from Western Michigan
University.
