
EEBA’s Mission Statement
To provide education and resources to transform the residential
design and construction industry to profitably deliver energy efficient
and environmentally responsible buildings and communities.
Are you passionate about changing the way homes are being built?
Demonstrate your commitment to better building performance education by
making a financial contribution to the EEBA organization. Your
contribution will help us develop:
- Educational curriculum
- Topic specific technical guides
- Excellence in Building Conference & EXPO
- Houses That Work Educational Sessions
- Resource materials
Future Builders Fund
In celebration of the organization’s 25th year, EEBA will designate
5% of all Legacy Campaign contributions to a scholarship fund. The
purpose of this fund is to further the development of building
performance education for those individuals seeking a career in the
building design and construction industry. Funding will be designated in
the following ways:
- Future Builder Grant. Awarded to a single college or
technical school offering a building science curriculum that will
include:
- 100 Builder’s Guides
- 100 Technical Guides
- Houses That Work Educational Full-day session
- Up to 5 student scholarships to the Excellence in Building
Conference & Expo
- Habitat Scholarships. Two scholarships awarded to staff
from the local Habitat for Humanity office where a HTW I session is
being offered.
- Library Program. EEBA will award 10 full sets of the
climate specific Builder’s Guides to select schools with design or
construction programs.
