This session will introduce EPA’s new indoor air quality home-labeling program – the new Energy Star Indoor Air Package (IAP) Program.

What Topics Will Be Covered?

This workshop will teach participants the basics about addressing the full range of potential pollutants that can impact indoor air quality in homes. The session will also introduce EPA’s new indoor air quality home-labeling program – the new Energy Star Indoor Air Package (IAP) program. Topics include:

  • controlling moisture/mold;
  • reducing chemical levels;
  • combustion equipment safety;
  • insect barriers;
  • radon resistance; and
  • HVAC (equipment and ductwork, filtration and mechanical ventilation).
