Intro to Houses That Work
- Learn ways to improve the performance, efficiency, durability, safety and health of homes
- Apply the fundamentals of air, heat and moisture flow to make better material and method decisions
- Apply building science to attics, walls, foundations and HVAC components to create high performance homes
- Identify building process changes cost effectively
Indoor Air Quality
- Learn the basics about the full range of potential pollutants and their impact on indoor air quality
- Identify four important strategies for controlling and improving indoor air quality.
- Discover practical and affordable tools and strategies to make better decisions and to incorporate healthy indoor initiatives into their building projects.
- Understand Energy Star's new air quality home-labeling program Indoor airPLUS - a practical tool that helps builders sort through a wide range of construction elements and techniques that can impact indoor air quality.
